Secure Cloud Computing and Storage
May 8, 2015, 9:00 am – 3:00 pm (coffee at 8:30)
Part of the Boston University and MIT Lincoln Laboratory Collaboration, the BU/MIT LL Cybersecurity Workshop Series is a recurring series of one-day workshops with a focus on a specific aspect of cybersecurity. These workshops are open to the public but seating is limited and registration is required.
The second workshop of the 2014-2015 academic year will address advances in secure cloud computing and storage. The tremendous popularity of the cloud computing paradigm has led both individuals and organizations to outsource their data storage and computation needs to cloud providers. Such environments introduce complex questions about the confidentiality, availability, and integrity of content with respect to other users, the provider, and third parties offering value-added services. This workshop seeks to bring together researchers from academia and industry in order to report on progress toward addressing these questions using a diverse array of techniques, including game-theoretic reasoning, verifiable storage and computation, and systems security.
